Six Weeks of Wonder
And we are off! Summer at Summit 2020 (“Six Weeks of Wonder”) began this morning with campers from the Beginners, Children’s House, and Elementary groups convening for summer adventures. Following a couple of reluctant beginnings (it has been a long time since we were together!) all children jumped in to the variety of activities offered. Beginners enjoyed outdoor play time, new sand in the sand box, and a bubble machine. The Children’s House group conducted an archeological dig, discovered micro-meteors, and LOVED the sprinkler! Lower Elementary students engaged in the construction of their own robots, enjoying ample time on the elementary playground running, climbing, digging, and exploring the natural world.
All groups are learning the fine points of physical distancing while still being active, safe, and social. They are happily catching on to new protocols and loving the togetherness that school can bring.
We are delighted to once again host children on our beautiful campus!
