A child’s education is enriched by family involvement. At Summit, there are many opportunities to connect with and contribute to the school community that fit into our families’ busy schedules and lifestyles. We encourage you to choose the type of involvement that matches your time, talents, and interests.

Fall Picnic Committee (September) - Help plan this favorite annual potluck event. Organize activities, volunteers and more.

Materials Committee - Meets weekly for 1.5 - 2 hrs. Cut, copy, paste and laminate materials for the classrooms

Annual Book Fair (November) - Set up fair, supervise classroom visits, assist with checkout

Family Night at the Book Fair - Plan a craft or activity and organize a simple buffet dinner

Admissions Assistance - Act as host family, attend Admissions Open House, conduct school tours

School Library Assistance - Re-shelve books, scan new titles

Spring Event - Help plan summit's Annual Spring Event, a community occasion for FUN and some FUNdraising

Teacher Appreciation Lunch Coordinator (March) - Organize food contributions, set up and clean up

General Classroom Assistance - Tasks can include chaperoning field trips for your child's class, sharing culture/talents, reading in the classroom
