She is originally from Thailand, though has lived in the United States for more than 20 years now.  She earned her American Montessori Society (AMS) Early Childhood credentials from NEMTEC and has worked in top Montessori programs since 2002.  Lumpoon joined Summit Montessori School as a Lead Teacher in 2016. She has worked in Montessori classrooms since 2002.

Lumpoon loves spending time with children and creating environments that help those children reach their highest potential. Maria Montessori’s words have inspired Lumpoon in her journey. “This then is the first duty of an educator: to stir up life but leave it free to develop.” ~ Maria Montessori. Lumpoon believes that each child is unique and that a child’s full potential is reached through emotional, mental, and physical health. Lumpoon is passionate about instilling a love of learning in her students. She believes that both the Montessori philosophy and a well-crafted classroom provide the ideal environment for children to learn, grow, and build their self-confidence. She strives to guide her students to become lifelong learners. When she is not teaching, Lumpoon enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and learning about different cultures, trying new things, and creating new materials for her students to use in her classroom.
