MS in Math, Maharaja Sayajirao University (Baroda, India)
Hiral (she/her) joined our Summit community in 2015 and loves being an integral part of shaping the future of our young citizens. Prior to joining Summit, she has worked for 12 years in the Montessori education system. Before earning her AMS credential, she taught math and computers to students in a CBSE school in India. The opportunities given to children to explore and learn new concepts using concrete materials at their own pace is what attracted Hiral to Montessori philosophy. She enjoys every moment spent with the young minds nurturing their curiosity and quest of learning. Hiral has presented workshops at MSM conferences and enjoys being a part of AMS accreditation teams where she can share her knowledge and experience with other Montessorians. In her free time, she loves exploring the beauty of nature by going on hikes, listening to music. and taking long scenic drives. Hiral loves capturing beautiful moments of children at work in the classroom and contributes these for the AMS publication “The Montessori Life” magazine.
