Catherine Byrne joins us as Art teacher for grades K-6. Catherine has a background in visual art as well as fashion design, having worked in the fashion industry for many years. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art from Boston University as well as an A.A.S. in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design. She has been working at Danforth Art School at Framingham State University since 2018 where she developed her love of teaching art to children. Catherine also has experience teaching in public schools and is a licensed art teacher for grades K-8. She is thrilled to join Summit, and work alongside students to nurture their curiosity, creativity, self-confidence, and life-long love and appreciation for learning through art.
