Tuition Payment Program

Families have two options for paying tuition:

Single Payment Option. Tuition is paid in full by May 1. Payment should be made by check, payable to Summit Montessori School and should be delivered directly to the School. Tuition Insurance is voluntary for families who use the Single Payment Option. Credit cards are not accepted for tuition payments.

Installment payments. Tuition is paid in either 10 monthly or 4 quarterly payments. The first payment is due May 1, and the last payment must be made by February 1 of the following calendar year. Please enroll in advance to ensure timely payment of the first installment.

Tuition insurance is required of families using the installment payment plan.  Please see the tuition insurance section for details.

Enrollment Deposit

A non-refundable deposit is due with your returned contract to reserve a space for your child at Summit Montessori School for the new academic year. For the 2023-2024 school year the deposit is $2,500. This amount is indicated on your contract. Your deposit is applied as your last tuition payment of the year.

Tuition Insurance

Your financial obligation to the School is for the full annual tuition as stated in the School’s enrollment contract.  The School cannot refund tuition or cancel unpaid obligations if your child must withdraw during the academic year. If your son or daughter withdraws, the Tuition Refund Plan will return 50% of tuition pro-rated for the balance of the school year. Insurance claims are honored regardless of the reason for withdrawal, provided the student has attended school for a minimum of 14 consecutive days. It provides substantial assistance in meeting your financial obligations. The Tuition Insurance Plan is required for families who pay in installments, and optional for families who pay their full balance by May 1. Families that pay in full by May 1 may participate on a voluntary basis.

Financial Assistance

Limited, need-based financial assistance is available to families who qualify. Summit uses the online Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) program. To complete a financial aid application, please visit the FAST website.

Financial aid decisions are made independently of admissions decisions. The financial aid program is open to students of any race, creed, sexual orientation and national or ethnic origin.
