Summit Montessori Parent Association (SMPA)

Parents at Summit are integral and important members of the community, and being involved with Summit means connecting to your child, his or her teachers, the wonderful staff and other parents to foster the best and richest community in which we all thrive.
The Summit Montessori Parent Association is a parent driven volunteer service organization operating under the authority of the Board of Trustees of the Summit Montessori School and which works closely with the Head of School, administration and faculty. All parents with children currently enrolled are automatically members, with each family having one vote on SMPA matters. Regularly during the academic year, SMPA will host social coffees with the Head of School, followed by a business meeting to which everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend. SMPA Bylaws are available in the Administrative Office for your reference.
