Summit Montessori School’s objective is to provide the most substantial and enriching learning experience for each of our students. Tuition in an independent school covers only a portion of the actual cost of a student’s education. The differential must be made up through contributions to Annual Fund and participation in fundraising events. Funds generated directly support educational programs, resources and help maintain our high standard of excellence.
Our philosophy mandates fundraising efforts be respectful of family time, learning priorities and child safety. Therefore, children do not engage in door-to-door selling of products (such as candy or wrapping paper). Any products sold for Summit’s benefit are either logo merchandise or educational items such as books (at a Book Fair).
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund Drive begins on October and closes at the end of June each
academic year. The purpose is to supplement the operational budget of the
School with the goal of 100% parent and Trustee involvement. Alumni families,
grandparents (with parental permission) as well as “Friends of the School”
are approached. Donors may make outright donations or pledges that are payable
on or before June 30th. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowable
by law.
