Summit Montessori School's objective is to provide the most substantial and enriching learning experience for each of our students. Tuition at an independent school covers only a portion of the actual cost of a student's education. The difference must be made up through contributions to the Annual Fund and participation in fundraising events. Funds generated directly support educational programs, resources, and help maintain our high standard of excellence.
2012-2013 Annual Giving Report
ALL HANDS ON DECK -- THE 2013 END OF CALENDAR YEAR SUMMIT FUND CHALLENGE IS HERE!
The calendar year is drawing to a close and once again, a generous donor is challenging all hands to engage and excel! Our anonymous giver will MATCH – dollar for dollar – every NEW or INCREASED gift (up to $30,000) donated to the Summit Fund anytime this fall until midnight December 31, 2013.
So DOUBLE your impact by making your annual fund gift by the end of the year (and claim your tax deduction for this calendar year, as well). You can bring or send a check to Summit or donate through PayPal on the school’s website (www.summitmontessori.org under the “Giving” section), or call the Business Office to make a credit card donation.
Be a helping hand and donate today!
Matching Gifts and Planned Giving
Matching gifts are a wonderful way to make your gift to Summit Montessori go even farther. These funds are available through many employers, and details of your company's matching gifts program can be obtained from your organization's human resources department. Once completed, your matching gift form would accompany your gift to Summit and then the funds are received by the school at a later date.
You can ask whether your company has a matching gift program. If your organization does not currently match employee donations, ask it to do so. Matching can extend the philanthropic goals of both employer and employee.
Planned giving opportunities are available to individuals who wish to provide financial support to Summit during their lifetime and beyond. Our Director of Development will be happy to work with you and your financial advisor to offer suggestions on ways for you to support Summit in a manner that is consistent with your own philanthropic, financial and estate planning goals.
